Our data recovery services have always been at the forefront of recovering data from new and old types of data storage media, released into the storage market. The recent explosion of portable media such as solid state flash memory and micro size disk storage along with the new generation of internal phone and PDA memory have been met with high success rates by our engineering team with quick turnaround.
Portable media also suffer from the old age problem of physical damage and electronic component failures. A common problem that we see everyday is the breakdown of the memory controller, between the interface and the memory chip, rendering the memory device completely dead.
Whilst this is a serious failure and very few data recovery companies are able to handle this, we have the ability to recover any raw data directly from the memory chip itself, bypassing device critical failures and extracting the data files directly to a secondary memory data disk.
Portable Media Recovery
Our Data Recovery Process involves salvaging the raw data from any inaccessible media, whether the cause is an untimely hardware failure related to the interface or memory chip itself or an application related software failure.
We only perform data recovery in laboratory conditions under strict access control, with the entire process carried out by senior data recovery specialist engineers experienced in both component level hardware recovery and software recovery techniques.
Through years of experience, we know that sometimes there is only a limited chance to recover data from some portable storage media. This could be because the media is suffering a terminal hardware failure or that this is the only copy of your critical data. For these reasons we only perform data recovery on a duplicate copy of the original. This is known as the data recovery mirror image.
